PeopleStrong in the spotlight

PeopleStrong sets ambitions high in Asia-Pacific expansion

Fresh from opening its new Asia-Pacific regional office in Singapore, India-based PeopleStrong has ambitions throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Pankaj Bansal, co-founder and CEO of PeopleStrong (pictured), says he has big ambitions for the fast-growing India-based organisation and its HR software platform, as part of its expansion to the Asia-Pacific region earlier this year.

A new regional office was opened in Singapore in February.

PeopleStrong bills itself as a comprehensive software-as-a-solution service specifically for the HR function and its growing list of data-enhanced tasks. These include recruitment process outsourcing, talent acquisition, applicant tracking, and leave and attendance modules.

Importantly, the platform is designed to enable third-party developers to continually expand and improve the menu of modules available.

Bansal says this, combined with the established products that PeopleStrong has developed, makes it “the most open and connected HR technology company” in the world.

All PeopleStrong applications, and the platform itself, aim to removing the complexities and rigidities which are often holding back traditional enterprise technologies used at work.

“We have always believed that any technology which adds complexities to the user’s life is not worth it,” Bansal says. “The new world of work needs products which are open to connect and integrate with other apps and can provide a unified view to the users.”

PeopleStrong was founded in 2005 by Bansal, who had spent much of his career to that point with innovation and technology companies such as Aricent Group, and Withya Direct, along with Shelly Singh, one of India’s best-known female entrepreneurs.

It has grown both organically and through a range of acquisitions over the past 14 years to now have a host of accolades to its name, including being the highest-rated Human Capital Management app globally.

And there is much more still to come. With its new regional office and an exhibition booth at this year’s HR Festival Asia, Bansal says he is excited to get the PeopleStrong message out to a vast new audience of HR and technology leaders across Asia-Pacific.

“We look forward to powering the enterprises in Asia-Pacific as they redefine their digital experiences at work,” he said.
